Courtney Buder (she/they) is a writer and visual artist living in Fredericton, New Brunswick, on unsurrendered and unceded Wolastoqey land. She takes historiographic interest in Atlantic Canada. Thematically, she enjoys working with memory, grief, and nature. She holds a Foundation Visual Arts certificate from the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design and currently studies English at the University of New Brunswick. Alongside Wynn Libby, she runs an art and writing magazine called HOT SOUP. Her work is published or forthcoming in Geist, Arc, ROOM, and Queen's Quarterly, among other places. She enjoys cemeteries.
